Since 2002 WILLIAM TOZER Associates has completed a large number of loft, rear and basement extension projects in London, and elsewhere in the UK. These projects demonstrate the capacity of modern architectural interventions to preserve but transform the functionality of historic buildings to suit contemporary lifestyles. This is achieved through rigorous consideration of the brief and budget through the design and construction stages. In the hospitality sector we have designed bars, restaurants, pubs, and cafes. We created many of the first premises for prominent coffee businesses such as Lantana, Fernandez & Wells, and Kaffeine—working with each of them to develop distinct architectural identities that became synonymous with each of their brands in their numerous locations. We have designed numerous apartments and flats in a variety of settings, including converted industrial spaces and period properties.
